Another Terrific Holiday Give-Away

Bundles of Joy

In 2019, Valley Churches United continued its tradition of providing special assistance during the holiday season. Not only were clients provided with extra food and gift cards, but our youngest clients (children under 18) received bundles of gifts selected especially for them, based on their “Santa” letters. These gifts were purchased by local residents, and their generosity was once again incredible. Every year we’re amazed at the outpouring of support. It’s a heartwarming time for staff, volunteers, and clients.

Santa Spent the Day with Us

This past Christmas we provided holiday food to more than  300 households, and fabulous gifts to over 227 children.

Scotts Valley Movie Night

Valley Churches United is once again pitching in to make October’s Scotts Valley Movie Night an evening to remember. We’ll be hosting the wine and beer concession, and all proceeds go to support our year-round food pantry. Come join us in Halloween costume! Back Program Once Again a Huge Success

Our 2019 Backpack Program concluded at the end of August, just as our local schools were reopening for the 2019/2020 school year. We were thrilled to distribute over 130 backpacks, complete with grade-appropriate supplies, as well as over 100 pairs of Van shoes. (Thank you, Vans, for your generous donation!) In addition, each student received a $25 K-Mart card for the purchase of school clothes.
